Exciting MMRL Update Version 3.22.23: New Features and Enhancements!

We’re thrilled to announce the release of MMRL update version 3.22.23, packed with significant improvements and new features designed to enhance your experience. This update brings a host of enhancements, including the introduction of ModConf Standalone, and we’re also dropping the requirement to install additional modules. Read on to discover all the exciting changes!

New Feature: ModConf Standalone

One of the standout features in this update is the introduction of ModConf Standalone. This new capability allows developers to build third-party ModConf configurations for other modules. With ModConf Standalone, you have the flexibility to create and manage ModConf setups independently, streamlining the process of module integration and customization.

  • Updated Dependencies: We’ve updated various dependencies to ensure better stability and compatibility.
  • Volume Slider Visibility Fix: The volume slider no longer remains visible when choosing options inside the terminal, improving the user interface.
  • Enhanced Installer: Our installer has received several upgrades for a smoother and more intuitive installation experience.
  • Repo Addition Improvements: Adding repositories has been optimized for efficiency and ease of use.
  • ModFS Integration: ModFS is now available within ModConf, offering enhanced file system support and performance.
  • Performance Boosts: General performance improvements have been made to ensure faster and more reliable operation.

  • Shell v2 Migration: The Shell has been updated to Shell v2. For more details, check out our documentation here.
  • Simplified Terminal Handling: The new Terminal(...) command no longer requires Terminal.onExit, simplifying terminal operations.
  • Introduction of SuZip (Beta): We’ve added the SuZip class to ModConf for reading zip files, expanding your file handling capabilities.
  • Improved Repo URL Handling: Adding repository URLs has been made more straightforward and efficient.
  • Enhanced Search Functionality: Searching within MMRL has been optimized for better accuracy and speed.
  • Module Notes: Module developers can now add notes above the module description to provide additional instructions or information to users.
  • Text Typos Fixed: We’ve corrected some text typos for a more polished experience.
  • Keyboard Overdraw Issue Fixed: The problem with keyboards overdrawing elements has been resolved.
  • No More External Module Requirement: We’ve removed the need for external modules like MMRL-CLI or MMRL Install Tools. MMRL can now download modules directly, simplifying the setup process.
  • SuFile Access Restriction: SuFile no longer has access to APK-specific paths like /data/data/com.whatsapp, ensuring proper use of the app and ModConf.
  • Removal of Multi Module Option: The multi-module feature, previously handled by MMRL-CLI, has been removed in this update.

Looking Ahead

This update marks a significant milestone in the evolution of MMRL, making it more powerful and user-friendly than ever before. We’re excited for you to explore these new features and improvements.
